This group of cables unites GOST 31996-2012, which establishes the basic requirements for constructions, technological characteristics of cables and their operating characteristics.

The cables according to real standard are divided into the following types:

• cables with PVC-compound insulation, with XLPE-insulation, with outer sheath or with PVC-compound jacket, and cables with XLPE-insulation, with polyethylene jacket (general industrial modification, single installation);
• cables with PVC-compound insulation or with XLPE-insulation, with outer sheath or with low-flammable PVC-compound jacket (modification “fr”, flame-retardant at group installation);
• cables with low fire-hazard PVC-compound insulation, or with XLPE-insulation, with PVC-compound outer sheath or with low fire-risk PVC-compound jacket (modification “fr -LS” for a group installation, flame-retardant at group installation, with low smoke- and gas emission);
• cables with halogen-free polymer compound insulation, with XLPE-insulation, with halogen-free polymer compound outer sheath (modification “fr –FRHF’’, flame-retardant, with insulation and with halogen-free polymer compound sheath).

Mark-formation of the cables of a given group and the basic requirements to the construction were formed for decades and were reflected in GOST and in technical specifications (TU). Nowadays the output of the cables of the given group is carried out in accordance with GOST 16442-80 (on the cable for voltage up to 6 kV), which continues to operate for the production of cables for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and as a national in a range of CIS countries, as well as in various technical specifications. The plant "Energokabel"  strictly follows to GOST constructional and technical requirements.

Power cables for voltage up to 1 kV must satisfy the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union "About safety of low voltage equipment".

In the marking of cable products, which meet the fire safety requirements, there should  be specified the type of performance in accordance with the fire safety indications.

Power cables for single installation are intended for installation of single cable lines in the cable constructions and premises.

Power cables of modification –ng (fire-resisting) are intended for group installation in the cable lines in the cable constructions and outdoor (open) electrical installations (cable bridges, galleries).

Power cables of modification –ng (fire-resisting)-HL are used for group installation. The materials, which allow cables to be resistant to low temperatures to -60⁰C, are used at manufacturing of the given cables.

Power cables of modification –ng (fire-resisting)-LS are used for group installation and are flame-retardant according to category A. The cables are designed for use in cable structures and premises. Smoke-formation is no more than 50% in the test chamber.

Power cables of modification –ng (fire-resisting)-HF are used for group installation of cable lines of power supply and checking circuits of electrical equipment, electric wiring in the offices, equipped with computer and microprocessor technology, in the kindergartens, schools, hospitals and for cable lines of the entertainment centers and the sport facilities. Smoke-formation of the cable products with index HF does not reduce the light transmittance of more than 25% in the test chamber.

Power cables of modification –ng (fire-resisting)-FRLS are used for the group installation of cable lines of power supply for electrical equipment of security systems, electrical wiring circuits of fire safety systems (fire alarm circuits, power supply of fire suppression pumps, lighting of emergency exits and escape routes, smoke removal and ventilation systems, evacuation elevators) for wirings in operating departments of hospitals, emergency power supply circuits and equipment (pantographs), which operate in case of fire. Smoke-formation is no more than 50% in the test chamber.

Power cables of modification –ng (fire-resisting)-FRHF are used for the group installation of cable lines of power supply for electrical equipment of security systems, electrical wiring circuits of fire safety systems (fire alarm circuits power supply of fire suppression pumps, lighting of emergency exits and escape routes, smoke removal and ventilation systems, evacuation elevators) for wirings in operating departments of hospitals, emergency power supply circuits and equipment (pantographs), which operate in case of fire. Moreover, it operates in case of fire during 180 (FE180) or 240 (FE240) minutes.

Power cables of power supply of fire suppression pumps -FRHL are used for group installation of the cable lines in the cable constructions and outdoor (open) electrical installations (cable bridges, galleries).

Fire-resistant cables in modification –ng(A) (fire-resisting-FRHL )" keep working, remain serviceability under the fire conditions during 180 minutes. The materials, which allow cables to be resistant to low temperatures of environment to -60⁰C, are used at manufacturing of the given cables.
