SCOPE AND PURPOSE

The cables are designed for transmission and distribution of electric power in stationary installations on the nominal alternating voltage to 0.66 and 1kV and frequency 50 Hz. The cables are used at group installation; they do not spread combustion on category A.

The cables are designed for group installation of cable power supply lines of electrical equipment of safety systems, (the wiring circuits of systems of fire alarm, power of pumps of fire suppression. Illuminations of emergency exits and escape routes, smoke removal systems and ventilation, evacuation lifts),including residential and public buildings, in buildings of children’s preschool educational institutions, retirement and nursing homes, hospitals, the dormitories of educational establishments of boarding schools, hotels, dormitories, of the dormitories sanatoriums and vacation houses of general type, motels, resorts and spectacular clubs, sports facilities, buildings of the organization for the maintenance of the population, of subways, in case of absence of danger of mechanical damages of the cables. For wiring in the surgical departments of hospitals, of the wiring circuits of emergency power supply of the equipment (current collectors), functioning in case of fire. The cables of type VBShvng(A)-FRLSLTx are used in case of danger of mechanical damages if the cables are not subjected to longitudinal tensions. They keep working in case of fire during 180 (FE180) or 240 (FE240) minutes.

The class of fire hazard of the cables according to GOST 31565-2012 for cables П1б.1.2.1.2.

STRUCTURE

Conductor

Copper, single-wire or multi-wire core, of round or sector-shaped form, of the 1 or 2 class according to GOST 22483.

Thermal barrier for CCC (current-carrying conductor)(For FE180 and FE240)

The overlapping with two mica tapes.

Insulation(color coded conductor)

Made of low toxicity PVC-compound of low fire hazard.

Core arrangement and twisting

Insulated conductors of 2, 3, 4 and 5 core cables are twisted in a cable core.

Inner sheath

Made of low toxicity PVC-compound of low fire hazard.

Thermal barrier on the inner sheath (For FE240)

Overlapping with the fiber glass and mica tapes.

Cable armoring

For cables of types VBShvng(A)-FRLSLTx is laid helically with two steel, galvanized tapes.

Over sheath or jacket

Made of low toxicity PVC-compound of low fire hazard
