SCOPE AND PURPOSE

The cables are designed for transmission and distribution of electric power at the stationary installation on the nominal alternating voltage 0.66 and 1kV and frequency 50 Hz or at direct voltage 1 and 1.5 kV with the possibility of installation without preheat at temperatures up to minus 300C.

The cables are used at group installation of cable lines in cable structures, outdoor (open-air) electric units (cable racks and galleries). Fire resisting cables in modification “flame retardant – Fire-Resistant Cold-Resistant” keep working in terms of exposure by the flame for 180 minutes.

For manufacturing of the cables the materials which provide resistance of the cables to the impact of ambient low temperature to minus 600C are used.

The class of fire hazard of the cables according to GOST П1б.1.2.5.4.

STRUCTURE

Conductor

Copper, single-wire or multi-wire core, of circular or sector-shaped form, of the 1 or 2 class according to GOST 22483 with the cross-section from 1.5 to 1000mm2.

Thermal barrier

The lapping with two fiber glass mica tapes.

Insulation

PVC-compound of low flammability (color coded conductor)

Core arrangement and twisting

Insulated conductors of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 core cables are twisted.

Inner sheath

PVC-compound of low flammability is made of filling of outer space between conductors.

Screen

For cables of type VVGЕng(A)-FRKhL with copper tapes or copper wires and a spirally imposed copper tape.

Over sheath
